WOW!

I was so excited when Barney Zauss showed up this afternoon to start working on the kitchen backsplash! He left without telling me he was leaving, so I'm not sure when he'll be back. He did all of the sink wall backsplash except one row at the top on the right hand side under the cupboard. What a HUGE difference painting the cupboards, adding new door and drawer pulls, painting the hinges and adding a backsplash makes in a kitchen!

I can't wait to get the countertop refinished! I hope he'll finish the one row at least tomorrow so I can start working on that countertop. I'll need to sand and put primer on it. Then spray the Make It Stone on it and then add about 9 coats of polyurethane. I need to review the instructions and check the drying time on all my supplies. I'm hoping to get the countertops done before we head to Boise on Friday so they can 'cure' without us having to worry about forgetting and putting things on them.

I got the wall paint out today and I think I got all the walls touched up. There was quite a bit of touching up to do around the door frames, also I hadn't done a very good job painting the laundry room so had a lot of touching up to do there too. Now I'm getting ready to put the 1st coat of primer on the front side of the last 13 cupboard doors...I hope to get the 2nd coat on and get them painted tomorrow so I can rehang them on Wednesday.

I called two realtors today, Joanne Melton and Meg Irwin and scheduled appointments for them to do walk-throughs on Thursday. Am not sure if I'll call a 3rd realtor or not. There are a number of them who would like the business...Erin Jones referred me to Terry Harrington, but he's a broker at the same RE/Max office that Joanne works at, so don't know if I should call him or not.

Well, I better get back to the primer!
